Aneesh Kumar E. C. (Aneesh Cheeral), was born in 1976. He lives in Cheeral, near Sultan Bathery, Wayanad, Kerala. He is the only son of Ealam Parambil Chandran and Marottu Moottil Kamalakshi. He is married to Rajitha, and they have two sons.
Aneesh is actively involved in the social, cultural, and political fields. He is a State Committee Member of several organisations, including Balavedi, Yuvakalasahithi, IPTA, and SIFA.

In 2025, he worked as the Screenwriter and Production Controller of the film Pralayaanantharam. The film received five awards, including an award for Best Screenplay, which was awarded to Aneesh.

Aneesh has also worked as the Coordinator for Malamukalile Manjuthullikal and Kunjatta Koodukal. These books were published jointly by Yuvakalasahithi and Aksharakoottam. Malamukalile Manjuthullikal brought together works by five prominent writers from Kerala along with writings by new authors.
